Our Transnasal Ileus Tube Set is specifically engineered for the decompression of small intestinal obstructions. Designed for placement via endoscopic or fluoroscopic guidance, this set provides a reliable solution for gastroenterologists and surgeons treating adhesive or malignant bowel obstructions.
Product Structure & Features
  • Catheter Design: Features a soft, atraumatic pilot tip with a smooth, no-step transition to the catheter body, preventing guidewire snagging during advancement.
  • Balloon System: Includes a latex-free, radiopaque balloon at the distal tip. Once filled with 10-15ml of sterile water, the balloon utilizes peristalsis to self-propel the catheter to the obstruction site.
  • Guidewire: Comes with a super-smooth hydrophilic guidewire for easy navigation through the pylorus and into the duodenum.
  • Fixation Mechanism: The handle connector is equipped with a suture hole, allowing for secure fixation to the patient's gown to prevent accidental dislodgement.
  • Suction Ports: Features multiple, strategically positioned side holes for efficient, high-volume drainage and decompression.
