EVT Medical's Ureteral Stent System has achieved its first successful clinical application at Ma'anshan People's Hospital, where it was used to treat a patient with a long-segment ureteral stricture caused by cervical cancer radiotherapy.
The procedure was successfully performed by Professor Kun Jiang and his clinical team. The ureteral stent was accurately deployed, restored ureteral patency, and achieved satisfactory postoperative drainage, demonstrating the system's potential in the treatment of complex ureteral strictures.

The procedure was performed under direct visualization using balloon dilation followed by dual-endoscopic guidance (ureteroscopy and cystoscopy) for precise positioning and deployment of the Ureteral Stent System. The stent was successfully implanted with accurate placement and excellent apposition to the stenotic segment.

Postoperative imaging confirmed optimal stent positioning with complete restoration of ureteral patency and effective urinary drainage. The procedure achieved the expected therapeutic outcome without intraoperative complications.

This successful first clinical application further demonstrates the clinical value of the Ureteral Stent System in managing complex ureteral strictures, particularly radiation-induced ureteral strictures following pelvic cancer treatment. The procedure provides a promising minimally invasive solution for patients with challenging long-segment ureteral obstruction.
EVT Medical remains committed to working closely with leading clinicians worldwide to advance innovation in ureteral reconstruction and minimally invasive urology, delivering safe, effective, and high-quality solutions for physicians and patients around the globe.
