Patient InformationThe patient is an obese male presenting with ureteral stricture secondary to right ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Imaging studies identified dilation and hydronephrosis of the upper right ureter, renal pelvis, and calyces. Retrograde ureterography confirmed complete occlusion of the stricture, with no contrast medium penetration.

Surgical ProcedureGiven the severe stricture that precluded guidewire passage, laparoscopic ureteral dissection was performed initially. Under direct visualization, a guidewire was inserted, the stenotic segment was dilated via balloon catheter, and the EVT Medical Ureteral Stent System was implanted and deployed.

Surgical OutcomeThe EVT Medical Ureteral Stent System was optimally positioned. The ureteral stricture was successfully relieved, and the urinary tract regained full patency.
