The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University has completed a complex interventional surgery for a patient with urinary tract obstruction. Chief Physician Xu Changbao led the team to replace a blocked Memokath stent with the EVT Ureteral Stent System, achieving ideal clinical results.
The patient is a 47-year-old female with a history of cervical cancer and chemotherapy. A Memokath stent was implanted for long-term urinary drainage and had been indwelling for 1 year. During routine follow-up, polypoid tissue caused severe obstruction of the drainage channel, which required urgent stent replacement.
The medical team safely removed the original Memokath stent and implanted the EVT Ureteral Stent System.
· The stent was deployed smoothly during the operation with no intraoperative complications.
· The surgeon was satisfied with the overall surgical effect.

Three-month follow-up results verified the reliable performance of the product. The stent maintained full expansion, and the urinary drainage remained completely unobstructed, ensuring long-term therapeutic effect for the patient.
This complex case proves that the Ureteral Stent System features stable deployment, excellent long-term expansion and reliable patency. It is an effective solution for urinary obstruction caused by polyps after long-term stent indwelling, especially for patients with tumor chemotherapy history.
